Social Development and Research Centre (SDRC) Nepal was established in 1994 and is registered with the District Administrative Office in Dhanusha, and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, Kathmandu. SDRC operates across multiple sectors including disaster risk management, poverty alleviation, flood response and reconstruction, social mobilization and community development, infrastructure development, gender and social inclusion, water supply, sanitation, local governance, livelihood promotion, and climate change initiatives — with its head office in Janakpurdham, Mills Area, and working districts spanning Siraha, Saptari, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Bara, Parsa and Rautahat.
